1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa: Eureka Springs, Arkansas
To begin with, if you have a faint heart, then staying at this hotel is not for you. This hotel has received reports of numerous paranormal activities over the years. Built back in 1889, this hotel used to be a college for women, and later, it was run by charlatan Norman Baker as an experimental hospital.
He claimed to have the cure for cancer, and many patients died under his watch. It is said that the spirits of those patients still roam the hallway and haunt the building. Late at night, visitors are taken for a chilling ghost tour through the morgue, where guests encounter dark figures and cold spots.
Some serious ghost hunters even check out the old hospital records from the archives on the 4th floor. Then, there is Michael’s room, which is believed to be the most haunted room on this property. The hotel also hosts a paranormal weekend every year, preparing ghost hunts.
Stanley Hotel: Estes Park, Colorado
There is no doubt that Stanley hotel offers an amazing panoramic view, primarily because of its location outside Rocky Mountain National Park. The view is such that it inspired Stephen King to write one of the scariest stories, The Shining.

Omni Parker House: Massachusetts
Guests who are lucky enough often get to meet the founder of the hotel, the late Harvey Parker. He is seen roaming the halls of the 10th floor, appearing like a misty apparition with a prominent black mustache.
Even though people have not mentioned meeting him during their recent stay with the hotel, it is not likely that he has left his beloved property for good. However, people have reported seeing floating lights and hearing the sound of a rocking chair, specifically on the 10th floor.
But, to your surprise, Parker is not the only spirit who lingers there. If you get room 303, you might get the smell of a cigar but won’t get hold of the smoker in there. There have also been reports of the elevators going up and down on their own.
People have also reported seeing a man in a stovepipe hat.
The Pfister Hotel, Wisconsin
The Pfister Hotel, popular as the “Grand Hotel of the West,” was opened back in 1893 and has managed to impress the guests with its amazing interiors. It is believed that the owner of this hotel, Charles Pfister, is still very much in love with the hotel and has stayed back for all eternity.
Guests have mentioned seeing him roaming in the hall and presenting the guest with his own special spooky room service. The hotel has terrified various major league basketball players.
They have heard strange noises, seen electronic devices come to life on their own, and felt an unknown entity touching them. Some are so terrified that they refuse to stay in the hotel again. Whereas there are some brave hearts who would come back to experience that again.
The Emily Morgan Hotel: San Antonio, Texas
The Emily Morgan Hotel is at the heart of downtown San Antonio and is a DoubleTree by Hilton property. This hotel has a well-known reputation for the supernatural entities residing there.
There have been numerous instances where guests and staff have encountered unnatural entities during their stay. They heard phones ringing in the middle of the night, with one on the other side of the phone. People have also reported unexplainable sounds coming from unoccupied rooms.
People have reported seeing shadow-like figures wandering the halls and doors getting closed without anyone touching them.
Baltimore Hotel: Coral Gables, FL
This hotel is one of the crown jewels of Southern Florida. Opened back in 1926, this property was used as a premier resort and golf course. However, during World War II, this hotel was used as a military hospital.
But the hotel was returned back to its glory as a four-star hotel in 1980. Even though it got back to its original form, few spirits from the World War II casualties lingered back. To date, visitors complain about spotting ghosts of nurses and some wounded soldiers.
Apart from that, people have mentioned spotting the ghost of Thomas “Fatty” Walsh. He was a gangster who was shot on the 13th floor at a party during the Jazz Age.
Queen Anne Hotel: San Fransisco, CA
This Pacific Heights Victorian B&B oozes the 19th-century vibe with its decor. The antique furniture, the salon for afternoon tea, and the fireplace in the guest room speak of that old Victorian vibe.
There is at least one ghost in this residence. Before the property became a hotel, it was used as an etiquette school for girls. However, the school was eventually shattered and turned into a gentleman’s club.
Miss Mary Lake, the former headmistress of the school, was not at all pleased with the sale, and she is pretty upfront about it. She still roams around the halls of the hotel and visits her former office, which is now room 410.
The Marshall House, Georgia

Built back in 1851, the hotel was used as a hospital during the Civil War. And again during the yellow fever epidemic during the 19th century. Guests have reported seeing phantoms passing through the narrow halls, hearing children laugh or the faucets turning on just by themselves.
