Today, the best route to explore the city is the Namma Metro. The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) operates this service in three routes. The services are available from 5:30 AM to 11 PM.

Close to Cubbon Park, Freedom Park is another peaceful place in Bangalore to sit and talk. Former Union Minister Union Minister Lal Krishna Advani inaugurated it and it opened its door to the public in 2008.
The park houses the former site of a Central Jail with many prominent freedom fighters as prisoners. The barracks, the spot of execution, and the watch tower will give a chill down your spine.
