We loved the design and decor of the hotel. It is just so beautiful with all the flowers! The staff was friendly and speaks great English, if needed. The attached restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere as well. The neighborhood it is in is safe, quiet, and pretty wo walk around during the day and at night. Review: “Exceptional in every way. We’ve been lucky to stay in many luxury hotels but none has ever delivered such sterling service while having the feeling of being in your own luxury home. Relax in the library while pouring yourself a 15 year old scotch, to the complimentary snacks, fruit and wine in the room, it’s all at your fingertips. The design and ambiance is also clearly a “spare no expense” effort, from unique place settings at each table to wonderful art, to sumptuous furniture indoors and out. The staff was extraordinary as well, always available and accommodating but never obsequious or faux polite. We’ll be back and I can’t recommend it highly enough.”

Review: “It is my first time staying at the IC in Polanco. I’ve been used to staying at the Hyatt Regency next door. Because I had an expiring IHG free night certificate to burn this time, I decided to give the IC a go. The two properties are very similar in terms of location and standard of service and are therefore worth a comparison.
The check-in experience was reasonably smooth. I booked a standard room, and through the app, I knew I was proactively upgraded to a room with a view. When I arrived by Uber, there was a lot of traffic at the entrance. No staff greeted me and helped me with my luggage. But because I was traveling solo, that actually made me feel less overwhelmed and more comfortable.
The front desk recognized my ambassador status and confirmed my 4 p.m. checkout benefit. (However, it still took another trip the next day to reactivate my keycard.) There was no mention of my Diamond status. I had to bring it up myself in order to choose the breakfast benefit.”

It’s not a newer fancier hotel like the JW in Santa Fe. if you want a more classical Mexican flavor hotel with the large wooden desk, drawers, etc this is your place. The exec lounge is a little old but overall, everything is great. The location is perfect for those that need to work close to the center or Polanco. If you need to work in Santa fe stay at the new JW Marriott in Santa fe which is great as well.”
