We happened upon El Toro Bravo after a few recommendations by some locals were closed on Sunday. We were happy with our meals – quesadilla and burrito. They are pretty cheap eats. The building could use some maintenance, a little unsettling when there are lots of water stains on the ceiling. Service was quick and friendly.

We ordered takeout for 4 adults and 2 young boys. One of the family feasts and a few add ons provided just the right amount of food for everyone. Our order was ready when we arrived, was delivered promptly to our car, and was hot and fresh by the time we got it home.

After a 600-mile driving day we needed veggies and variety. This place is new and obviously well-managed. Our server, Vicky was wonderful, personable and efficient. The manager, Mr. MILBY was obviously involved and even greeted is at our table to ask if we were pleased. That never happened before! Impressive. The food was super.

Upon beginning to order, we mentioned it was our first time. The cook came out to give us a sample of their tacos. YUM! We each ordered burgers (I had the burger salad) and and extra order of Birria tacos! Their lemonades were amazing, too. We have the Risa and the Area 51. Perfect local dive!

We debated on where to go and decided on this place due to variety. We we sat immediately and served drinks promptly. I had the chicken fried steak and it’s the best I’ve had and I’m from Texas. Salad was fresh and excellent. Service was impeccable. Manager came by to make sure everything was ok. Highly recommend.
