Whenever I visit Bali, I don’t miss the water activities at Nusa Bay. Specifically, I’m talking about the Nusa and Manta Bay snorkeling. The neverending crystal clear blue water hues will teleport you somewhere else. 

But I enjoy the harmless sting rays grazing past me more. Plus, there is an opportunity to explore millions of exotic sea creatures. Don’t worry. It’s not costly and safe. 

Apparently, single snorkeling sessions cost you $25 to $30, including equipment and a guide. 

If your love for water sports is at its peak, don’t think twice before booking the Ayung River rafting. Trust me, the clear waters and latent currents will give you the thrill of a lifetime. The experience costs around $10 to $11.

Maldives has an unfathomable marine beauty. There is scope for exciting water activities all around the archipelago. But my favorite is scuba diving. Trust me, there coud not be another better than deep diving into the unknown shallows of the Indian Ocean. 

There is a tapestry of colorful corals, stingrays, turtles, and many other sea creatures. Often, your resort will offer it as a part of their package. Hence, it perfectly packaging leisure with water activities. 

All water activities in Maldives take place throughout the year. However, scuba diving is more enjoyable, with prominent tropical weather. 

We landed for scuba diving in the Maldives last year in May. The weather was fine, with a stable 31-degree temperature. A casual tropical breeze at 3-4 nautical miles barely stirred the water. 

Avid water sports lovers would surely get me. But don’t toil with details. Visit anytime and plunge into the ocean depths. The average cost of a single scuba diving package starts from $130. 

For the more ambitious, I suggest flyboarding in the Maldives. Try the sport if you have a day to spend leisurely at Maldives beach. 

Your flyboard is strapped with you and connected to jet skies via a hose. Defy gravity with your counterbalance and feel the vibe. 

But the best time to enjoy flyboarding on the water is November to April. In addition, the winter hues spring up your vacation vibes. The sport costs $170 per person, including a guide.
